I am truly amazed at what happened last night, or should I say early this morning. Around 1am this morning my husband, Greg woke me up. I could tell by his tone of voice that he was super frustrated. He said, “I’m sorry, but I need you to put something on my legs, they are so jumpy I can’t go to sleep and I am about to go crazy!” Now, I have heard Greg and his family mention “jumpy legs” for years, but it wasn’t until recently that I realized they were talking about Restless Leg Syndrome. His sister suffers horribly and even though Greg’s isn’t as severe, when it happens he is miserable. Well, I did the only thing I knew to do… I pulled out my Young Living Peace and Calming Essential Oil blend.
I rubbed 2-3 drops on the bottom of each foot and several drops on his legs. He rubbed 3-4 drops on his forehead and we turned the lights back out. In a matter of minutes he was sound asleep! I am amazed. I shouldn’t be, because Young Living Essential Oils work… I think sometimes people don’t find relief because they fail to use enough oil to reach what I call “saturation point” A liberal amount is needed when you are in a state of pain or illness, but at a mere fraction of a penny for each drop, I am happy to use something natural to help us find health.

I am really focusing in on weight loss this week. I have been on my “fat to fit” journey for 9 months now! WOW! I can hardly believe it. My body is so different and so much stronger, but it isn’t all that much smaller. I can’t explain the emotional roller coaster I have been on as I navigate the “whys” and “what ifs”. I just know I have worked harder than any other time in my life. I have worked out faithfully 5-6 times a week, most weeks at least 3 of those workouts are with a personal trainer. I have changed the way I eat, and yet the weight loss has stalled. So, I am doing what I know to do, and trusting that the results will be great. I know that the items in the picture above are key to weight loss. This week I am committing to use the knowledge I have to get me over this hump. I am drinking a Shakeology shake with peanut butter for breakfast and lunch, and then eating a glutten free meal for dinner.
Here is my recipe:
1 scoop Shakeology – 140 calories
8 ounces skim milk – 130 calories
1 teaspoon natural peanut butter – 32 calories
mixed in blender with a handful of ice
I also take:
1 ounce Ning Xia Red vitamin drink – 19 calories
3 capsules Omega Blue fish oil – 17 calories
